About the Journal

Nusantara Behavioral Review is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing the study of attitudes, behavioral change, and psychosocial dynamics within diverse sociocultural contexts. Rooted in the rich cultural landscape of Indonesia and Southeast Asia, the journal provides a platform for empirical research, theoretical innovation, and methodological refinement that bridges global behavioral science with local relevance.

We welcome interdisciplinary contributions that explore behavioral phenomena through frameworks such as the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), Group-Based Control Theory (GBCT), social identity theory, and other models that illuminate the interplay between individual agency, social norms, and institutional structures.

Scope includes:

  • Cultural adaptation of behavioral theories

  • Psychosocial interventions and program evaluations

  • Attitude formation and change across populations

  • Behavioral insights for policy and institutional development

  • Survey design and methodological advancements in behavioral research
